Just one type of fail, the Romantic Fail can be funny, embarrassing and relationship ending all in one.
Every day, new challenges are added on moolta by daredevils looking to raise money for their favorite causes. While we hope for the best for every single one, every now and then a challenge fails to be completed. Obviously we want every challenge to succeed, but on occasion, a hilarious fail is born providing laughs to all of those who see it. So, today we would like to offer you the very best in FAILS. The art of a fail is truly hysterical and we hope it puts a smile on your face.
Give a homeless man on the street corner or take them out to lunch, congratulations, you’re a philanthropist. Eating finger-food with toes, congratulations, you’re bizarre. If you hold a public “Eating finger-food with your feet” contest where the box office profit goes towards feeding homeless people, you’re a little bit odd. Continue reading →
Fraternities and Sororities around the country take part in charitable philanthropies
Members of the Sigma Nu fraternity and Alpha Chi Omega sorority collect canned goods for a food drive.
Everybody knows the common fraternity stereotypes… lots of drinking, lots of partying, and lots of tools. While we can’t disagree with any of these and fraternity brothers probably wouldn’t either, we should all agree that members of fraternities and sororities Continue reading →
The challenge to get on stage at a concert dressed in a chicken costume.
Everybody has a little bit of challenge in them. If you don’t think that you do, then you just don’t know it yet. It’s human nature to push yourself to do challenging things. If you haven’t found anything that stirs your interest, then we are here to help you come up with some awesome challenge ideas!
Every day, we read tons of feedback from our fans and a common theme seems to be that they can’t think of interesting things to do. This happens for several reasons, one being the location of the moolta user.
Jane from Iowa writes to us:
“I see all of these awesome challenges on moolta, like the dress like a chicken and get on stage at a concert challenge, and I want to do things like this but I’m from a small farm town and we don’t have those kinds of things here! HELP ME COME UP WITH CHALLENGES TO DO!!!”
Well Jane, we appreciate your spirit and willingness to do challenges and here is the main piece of advice we have to offer for you in your current situation:
Take advantage of your surroundings! You’re from a farm town; so do farm related challenges. If you have horses, try jousting your friends with water balloons instead of swords. If you have cows, try drinking straight from their utters. If you have pigs, try eating their food with them (with no hands of course). You see Jane, there are challenges everywhere, you just have to adapt to your surroundings. We are looking forward to your next challenge.
Other users have trouble finding the right range of difficulty for their challenges.
Matt from Florida writes to us:
“As much as I love watching some of the crazier challenges you guys have on moolta, no matter how much money I could make I wouldn’t be insane enough to do them. You guys should give users easier challenges.”
Thanks for the advice Matt! At moolta we don’t believe that you have to be crazy to complete cool challenges… there are challenges of all kinds for any type of person. Try doing the following:
Check out the idea generator on our create a challenge page (the link is at the top right of our moolta dashboard. The generator is filled with challenges of all difficulty levels. If you still can’t find anything that you like then be creative. If you like music, try playing your favorite song on the piano… using your feet! If you like sports, try to make a bunch of trick basketball shots. Challenges don’t have to be difficult or dangerous, they just have to appeal to a certain audience. Do what you like to do and make it interesting.
The main point is that there is no reason to struggle with challenge ideas. Challenges can be ANYTHING! Easy or hard, dangerous or delightful… As long as you appreciate it, others will too. So go get out there and make challenges! Don’t let anything stop you.
Raising money, helping charities and doing awesome challenges… what’s not to like? Moolta makes it easy to do all three! Especially if you create and complete Continue reading →
Every now and then we like to take a quick break from our fun and crazy challenges to acknowledge all the other companies out there that are fighting for corporate social goodness alongside moolta. In a world filled with big business, greed and corporate irresponsibility, a few companies stand out and shine amongst the rest as honorable ventures always looking to give back.
As you already know, moolta raises money for charities. We take pride in helping those in need and cherish everything we do for the organizations that benefit from our work. Here is a list of three other companies who also give back and the different ways they go about doing so:
TOMS
For a company who claims that giving is part of their DNA, TOMS sure lives up to it. TOMS sells shoes, eyewear and apparel, all made from sustainable and vegan materials… even the box is 80% recycled material! But more importantly, for every pair of shoes you buy from TOMS, another pair is donated to somebody in need in poor areas around the world. The company is currently running a giving campaign as well. “Ticket To Give” is a way for TOMS to send 50 people on trips to different parts of the world to give shoes to those who need and chronicle the events. You can even enter to be one of the 50 who take a trip! If you would like to sign up or are interested in learning more, check out the Ticket To Give website here: Ticket To Give
Pepsi
Pepsi launched their “Pepsi Refresh” project as recently as the Super Bowl, but they have managed to make great contributions to society in that time. Pepsi Refresh is a community based around Pepsi where customers can communicate with the brand. Customers can vote on which charity they want Pepsi to support, what contributions they want Pepsi to make to society, and even what fundraising events Pepsi should have. The community is the perfect mix of modern social media, corporate responsibility, and fun! To check out the site for yourself, follow this link: Pepsi Refresh
Wear The Fund
One of our favorite young companies today is Wear The Fund and it’s not because they were also first launched at the University of Florida. Wear The Fund is not only the epitome of corporate responsibility, but the whole brand is based on it. When you purchase a trendy and original article of clothing from Wear The Fund, 20% of your bill goes to one of six charities and the choice is yours! Customers currently get to choose between the Jack & Jill Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Big Hearts For Big Dogs Rescue, Kiwanis International, The Alzheimer’s Association and Tabarinni. Finally, you can go on that big shopping spree and not feel guilty at the end of it. Check out the Wear The Fund website to learn more about the company and buy your first Wear The Fund shirt! There’s nothing like an outdoor shower… in a Speedo
Every now and then, we at moolta like to take some time to recognize an awesome challenge. We like to pay tribute to those who take the extra step and really put the ‘awe’ in awesome. So this week we’d like to thank Julian. Continue reading →
We’ve truly come a long way since the beginning of the famous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. New challenges are added every day on moolta, but recently it has been some of the food challenges that have caught our eyes. Whether you’re eating hot dogs, cinnamon, crackers, wasabi, chugging milk or chowing down on abnormally large burgers, every effort deserves a round of applause. We’ve gathered a few unique challenges that have all taken place on moolta and they’re sure to give you a laugh.
Black Guy Does Mayo Challenge
Many of us are used to saying “hold the mayo,” on food orders. The ridiculously high amounts of calories and fat isn’t a healthy addition to any meal. Forget eating a serving or two on your sandwich though, this guy eats an entire jar!!!
The Ran Over Burger
Anybody can eat a burger, that’s not what made this challenge special. Michael and James Glaze completed their challenge to flatten burgers with the tires of their car and eat them. Everybody hates a “hit-n-run,” but these two make you laugh with their “hit-n-bun.”
15 Shots in 90 seconds
Ok, this one isn’t food, and it actually doesn’t even get completed. But the process of trying to complete the challenge is absolutely hilarious! Phil has to take 15 shots of whiskey in 90 seconds, and without spoiling the ending, I just want to tell you he gets nowhere close!
Eat a Bowl of Grass
Salad is about as far as I will go with vegetables, to be honest, it’s a challenge in itself for me to even eat a full bowl. But Shoenice takes it to another level with this challenge. He somehow manages to eat four square feet of grass in a bowl despite an obvious struggle.
Eat a coworkers doughnut behind his back
This wasn’t an eating challenge, it was an eating prank! And it gets better, this prank took place in our very own moolta office! This is what happens when you’re socializing instead of working… and you leave a delicious doughnut on the table. Sucks to suck, Sagi.
To try your very own eating challenge, go on moolta.com and create a challenge! We’ll be waiting to see your results. The person who completes our favorite eating challenge will not only receive a blog post dedicated to them that will be viewed by our thousands of fans, but the video will be posted on our Facebook page as well!
Celebrities have a history of stripping down to their knickers for charity
If you haven’t seen it yet, the Warwick University Rowing Club’s naked calendar is something you won’t want to miss. Both the men’s and women’s team posed nude to help raise money for charity… and the web is going absolutely bonkers over it.
When are tryouts? I’d do whatever is needed to join this rowing team.
Once the pictures went viral on the internet, both teams sold out of every calendar and they are now on backorder. While this is the first year the women’s team made a naked Continue reading →
